DAVIS CUP!
Wow! What an event here in our own backyard.
The La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club knows how to promote and present
the game of tennis. Our very own club member Bob Kellogg was
instrumental in bringing the Davis Cup to La Jolla. As many of you
know they built a new court and stadium in the middle of their golf
course just for the tournament and will now tear it down and return
the golf course to its original condition.

Pritzker performed on stadium court Friday morning prior to the
event. Congratulations George! Following are some pictures from the
tournament and a few of our club members attending.
In case you did not know USA defeated Romania
4-1 and will play Chile in the quarter finals sometime in April at a
site to be selected.
