    Courts 1 and 2 will be shut down tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/05/18. We will continue to update you as we progress. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as we get these lights installed.  

  • "Eleven2One" Tennis League Has Begun
    Our winter has arrived bringing a new inter club league to SDTC!
    Season Dates: 11/26/18 - 01/07/19
    11:00am - 1:00pm (Hence the league name)
    - Schedule your matches according to your schedule. We recommend you play at least once per week! However, ALL matches must be played from 11:00am-1:00pm to qualify as a confirmed match.
    - This will be a doubles format
    - Men and Women may participate.
    - You may mix up your partners or keep the same partner throughout the season. Your match play count will follow the individual player.
    - Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the most matches played. (HEAD tennis shoes are on the line!).
    - Be sure to sign up in the Pro Shop before you begin play.
    - You may start your league season anytime beginning November 26th; 11:00am.

    We look forward to seeing you on the courts!

  • The Annual Women’s December Round Robin & Holiday Potluck Luncheon 12/07/18

    Tennis is  LIMITED to the first 32 women who sign up, but as many as 30 more women can attend the “potluck luncheon only” portion of the day. If you only plan to attend the potluck luncheon only, please indicate that on your sign up.

    $5/person due in the office at time of sign up. Some of you have signed up and have not yet paid. Please do so asap. Thank you.

    Wear your holiday fun outfits! The crazier the better!

  • Strength, Mobility and Flexibility Class at SDTC 12/12/18
    Free introductory class:
    Wednesday, December 12th at SDTC
    Time will either be 5:00pm or 5:30pm. We will announce the time once it is confirmed.

    Instructor: Victoria Hickmet 

    She will be teaching a combination of Strength Mobility and flexibility.   You will be able move better on and off the tennis court, improve your game, posture, balance and reduce your risk of injury. The incorporation of breathing techniques will help alleviate the stress and anxiety caused by busy everyday life. The overall benefits of this class are becoming happier, healthier and stronger.

  • Men's Beer Night Wednesday, December 19th, at 6:00pm.
    This will be a special holiday evening of doubles play, organized by Juan Garcia, our Director of Tennis. He is planning on inviting a few guests to join us so be sure to bring your "A" game and prepare for some jolly good fun! Juan will be grilling after. Bring your craft beer of choice and one to share. An $8.00 fee per person will be collected. Balls will be provided.

     A sign up sheet is posted at the club. Please sign up by December 9th and feel free to invite a friend. The more the merrier!

  • Ball Machine Use
    Just a reminder that our ball machine is available to be rented after 11:00am! It may be used on courts 5 and 8 as they are available.

  • "Sip & Serve"
    SDTC is creating an interest list to provide an opportunity for our members ages 21-40.
    -All levels invited!
    -This will be a game-based clinic from 5:00-6:30pm led by Juan Garcia.
    -No winners or losers at Sip N’ Serve! Just a good time and a good workout!
    -Players pick a spot after the clinic to grab a drink and socialize.
    -A sign-up sheet is posted at the club for those who are interested in participating.

  • Dominoes Anyone?
    Mexican Train Dominoes will not take place again until January 9th at 3 PM.You do NOT need to know how to play... they can quickly and easily teach you.
    If you would like to play, please RSVP to Linda Goldsmith at 760-815-3852. 

  • Men's Singles
    Every Tuesday at 5:30pm we have a group of guys playing men's singles.  If you would like to be included, please send request to Eric Nelson at ericnelson1232@gmail.com and he will add you to the weekly Evites.  Note this is not a clinic—just people playing casual singles.   Attendees are typically 3.5-4.0.
