Dear SDTC Members,
We would like to announce a change to our current Board of Directors. Vinh Tran has decided to step down effective August 10th. We would like to thank Vinh for his time and efforts while serving on the SDTC Board.
Per the club bylaws, there will be a temporary replacement nominated by the SDTC Board of Directors, to serve, until the next elected Board takes office in March 2019. We are very fortunate to have one or our previous Board of Director members, Joanne Marks, volunteer to work with us.
Joanne, thank you very much for stepping up to assist the club at this very important transitional time.

08/15/18 Men's Beer Night
Tomorrow evening! Doubles tennis is followed by food and friendships old and new. Be sure to sign up.
Tennis begins at 6:00pm; $5 per person for burgers- provided by Phil Lambert. Guys are to bring a new can of balls, a craft beverage beer to share and one for themselves.
A sign up sheet is posted at the club.
With Dave gone members are tasked to run this event, Phil Lambert will be helping to organize, due to the small number of sign ups this is considered an informal beer night.

Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant Tables<https://www.dmtc.com/groupsales/venue/clubhouse-terrace-restaurant> (<- link w/ photos) – These exciting trackside tables are located just past the finish line on the second floor down in front of building, right next to the track. These casual tables seat 4 persons each at a cost of $68 per table on Wed., Thurs., Sun. (divided out is only $17.00 per person; includes Clubhouse admission, seat & program) Food and beverage is from your waitress at the table; entrees generally start in the $16++ and up range, while beer & wine start at $12. All of your tables would be next to each other for easy mingling during the 30 minute downtime between races. Minimum group size is 5 tables (20 guests).

The hosts are providing ribs and hot dogs. Please bring your favorite dish to share including main dishes, like chicken or pulled pork; salads; appetizers, like corn bread; and dessert. Also BYOB!
