“-Our bodies take a beating during workouts. Muscles fatigue, and they can break down if you go from one to another without adequate recovery. While stretching after exercising is better than nothing, there's a new trend we're seeing in the fitness world that we wholeheartedly welcome. Recovery-focused classes and treatments are all the rage now — and for good reason. These classes allow individuals to work on restoring and repairing muscle to avoid injury or overuse. It also allows the body and mind to slow down, which is a nice way to balance out high-intensity workouts.(Such as tennis matches)-“
SDTC will host "Sip & Serve" in January. This is an opportunity for our members ages 21-40 to participate in a game-based clinic on Sundays from 5:00pm-6:30pm led by Juan Garcia.
-All levels invited!
-No winners or losers at Sip N’ Serve! Just a good time and a good workout!
-Players pick a spot after the clinic to grab a drink and socialize.
-A sign-up sheet is posted at the club for those who are interested in participating. If you are between the ages of 21-40 this is for YOU.
Cardio Tennis was introduced at our Sunday mixer on January 6th and generated much interestin continuing the program throughout the coming year! We would love to get feedback from those of you who are interested in regards to what days and times work best for your schedule.
