SDTC New Year's Update!

Happy New Year SDTC!

Wishing you all a healthy and happiness in 2019.

A note from Juan:

Happy New Year SDTC!
I’m back! I had a great vacation! Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays!!

Let’s play this game...
6 truths 1 lie
Guess which is the lie!
Flying out of San Diego, the flight was returned after 30 minutes in the air and had to switch planes. Missed my connecting flight in Miami.

Experienced a 5.3 earthquake in Caracas.

Both Elevators broke down in the 15 floor building we stayed at the beach. Our room was in the 13th floor!

Got bit by an iguana on my toe while napping at the beach. Ouch!

Played tennis twice. One doubles match, I played with my son on my shoulders to handicap my brother in law and his cousin.

Got food poisoning New Years Eve.

Back from Venezuela, Got sent to secondary inspection because they were looking for a Juan Garcia. Not me obviously!

Be sure to let Juan know your answer when you see him.

She will be teaching a combination of Strength Mobility and flexibility.   You will be able move better on and off the tennis court, improve your game, posture, balance and reduce your risk of injury. The incorporation of breathing techniques will help alleviate the stress and anxiety caused by busy everyday life. The overall benefits of this class are becoming happier, healthier and stronger.

  • Save the Date! Saturday, February 16th
SDTC and The Grauer School will co-host a blood drive From 9 AM till 2 PM.

Look for announcements later about the various, easy ways to sign up.

Please MARK your CALENDAR now for Saturday, February 16, 9-2, to play and donate (or just donate).

If you have questions or you would like to help, please contact Lynne Calkins lc1np@cox.net or 760/402-0325 (call or text).

We will need help checking donors in, and providing them with refreshments afterwards for being so brave.

  • Men's Singles
Every Tuesday at 5:30pm we have a group of guys playing men's singles.  If you would like to be included, please send request to Eric Nelson at ericnelson1232@gmail.com and he will add you to the weekly Evites.  Note this is not a clinic—just people playing casual singles.   Attendees are typically 3.5-4.0.
