  • Board of Directors Meeting - Thursday, September 5th

    Make note of the new date, THURSDAY, September 5th.
    The meeting will be in the clubhouse beginning at 6 PM. All members are welcome.

    The clinic will consist of 90 minutes of drills and games followed by a social potluck in the clubhouse.

  • NEW MEMBER PARTY - Sunday, September 8th

    In lieu of the Sunday Mixer our Board of Directors will be hosting a New Member Party celebrating our new members over the past couple years!

    Our supporting committee Birgitta Seal, Barbara Pasquale and Karen Barr have been working hard to organize a special day to be shared by all our members! Invitations have been sent to our new members. All others... please keep an eye out for an Evite to arrive in your Inbox around the 15th.

    We'll be limiting the party to the first 90 people to respond... looking forward to your RSVP!

  • Paint & Wine "Sugar Skulls" - Friday, October 4th

    Instead of painting on canvas, we will paint traditional Mexican "Dia de Los Muertos" sugar skulls! Very colorful, festive and a wonderful way to pay homage to your ancestors who have gone before you.

  • "OKTOBERFEST" MONTHLY MIXER - Sunday, October 6th

    Come immerse yourself in Bavarian culture! Gitta & Magnus Pfahl will be our merry-making hosts! Tennis starts at 3 PM, appetizers at 4:30 PM, followed by dinner at 5 PM. Gitta & Magnus will be supplying the sausages with all the trimmings, and the beer! "Prost!"

  • 3rd ANNUAL SAN DIEGUITO CUP – October 18th -20th

    San Dieguito Cup 2019 will be a 3-day event in October. Don't miss out! This is a team tennis event with men's, women's and mixed doubles. This event is FOR PLAYERS OF ALL LEVELS! Eight-member teams will be selected by draft in late September. there will be 6 or 8 teams.

    FRIDAY NIGHT - Potluck dinner and decorations/costume contest
    SATURDAY - Round Robin play in the morning and afternoon
    SUNDAY - Play concludes at noon

    $40.00/person - includes lunch both days, snacks, court balls and prizes

  • New Years Eve at SDTC - Tuesday, Dec. 31st

    Get your tickets early... this will sell out! We already have 45 members signed up! This event is limited to 50 people. If interest continues, we might be able to expand the limit to 60 people.

    Singles & Couples are welcome and encouraged to attend! It will be a FUN night of ringing in 2020!

    Early bird registration is open now until 10/31.

    $65/person (includes band, food and FUN!).
    If tickets are still left after 10/31 the price will increase to $75/person.

  • A Message from the SDTC Board Of Directors President...

    I feel that the proposed court reservation system that is being explored needs to be further explained.

    Phase I : Involves the scheduling of our tennis pros lesson times and other
    items such as TNT, leagues, socials, ball machine and clinics. This information
    benefits the membership in that it will give you easy access to those schedules when planning your matches and what courts will be available. It's important for the club to keep track of the scheduled lessons so that we can collect the correct fees from the pros.


    Phase II : We have a group of about 25 members that will be testing the system
    and scheduling their social matches using only courts 5,6,8 and 9 during off peak hours only
    ( no Saturday mornings ).

    Phase III : We will have four courts for first come - using the board just like now, and four courts on the reservation system.

    Phase IV : Full implementation of the reservation system.

    Phase I is just now being completed and Phase II will start shortly.

    Please note this is exploratory only, and we will not proceed with the system unless it is approved by the membership. It is entirely possible that we settle on Phase I only after testing Phase II and III. Again, it's important that the club collects the lesson fees and guest fees and Phase I will make it much easier
    to do that accurately.

    As always, you are all invited to attend a board meeting and voice your opinions, concerns and ask questions. I hope this helps.
